Saturday I ran the 10K at the Summer’s End Trail run. This year was the coldest I’ve ever experienced with a sub 80 degree race start. However, a rainy week left portions of the trail a muddy mess. Specifically the trail to and from the river was ankle deep mud on a steep incline. For the 10K runners, that second pass on the trail was a real challenge! It was an exciting experience and a wonderful cause. I managed 1st OA in the 10K and was feeling a bit under the weather. Overall, I was happy with my efforts.
